Trotwood-Madison City Schools is dedicated to addressing the academic needs of each student, while also acknowledging the importance of addressing their overall well-being. Our school social workers collaborate closely with school administrations, students, and families. They support school discipline and attendance policies and help create consequences that may be less punitive and more restorative. These staff members assist with referrals for mental health services, crises, and delivering support services. They work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help students thrive and actively engage the community in the schools while advocating for 100% Student Success!
The district has partnered with Samaritan Behavioral Health to provide mental health services and therapy to
students. Once referred, either by a teacher, staff member, and a parent/caregiver consent is received, students will be provided top-notch
care from licensed, certified mental health specialists.
